Step 1: Download and install MiniTool MovieMaker (Windows 10/8/7 supported), and then launch the software.

Step 2: Hit the Import Media File button to import a video file, to which you want to add background music, then drag and drop that file to the timeline at the bottom of the interface.

Step 3: Click Import Media Files to import one piece of background music that fits the video, then drag and drop the music file to the timeline. The music file will appear under the imported video (see picture below).

Step 1: If you would rather remove the original audio track(s) from your video at first, you can move the mouse to the sound icon on the timeline, then you will see “Mute”, please click it.
